BWH is to be a family home, where both work and play are of equal importance. With functionality as the key focus, Pitch designed generous living and entertainment areas throughout whilst also creating a home office with private access. The dramatic combination of double height zones and intimate retreats are designed to allow northern natural sunlight to filter into the rooms. The large feature courtyard allows this light to illuminate the space from within. In the courtyard the shallow reflective pond references minimal Japanese design and acts as a natural light source for the basement retreat beneath. The master suite features a walk in robe, en-suite and private balcony with outdoor shower, blurring the boundary between indoor and outdoor living. Curved walls guide you towards the double height hallway lined with raw neutral toned stone. A palette of neutral stones, marbles and raw concrete have been used throughout.
