What was previously an underused Alfresco dining area has been re-imagined by Pitch to be a new central space of the client’s family home. This was achieved by replacing the existing oversized area with two new spaces that provide both indoor and outdoor living. In the new formal dining room, Pitch conceptualised a polycarbonate structure that sits directly on top of the roof, allowing natural light to fill the space whilst also preventing any privacy issues from neighbouring properties. External materials have been chosen to sit harmoniously with the existing house so that this renovation can achieve maximum outcome with minimal impact on the family’s busy life.
